Hello, this is Belette, the pink weasel.

I am an illustrator based in Madrid, Spain.

Born in 1978, wildlife,and animals have been always present in my art and life since I was a child.

I have painted since my hands could hold a pencil at the age of 5, and I love watercolors, oils, mixmedia and traditional art but currently I mainly do digitalart.

Wolves, otters, ferrets, civets and weasels are some of my favorites, and “Weasel Hugs” is my war cry.

Studing in Art School for a time, I completed my studies in the self-taught way becuase my personalily, curious and creative, complementing my visual arts studies with music studies too.

I do miss these times in the stages!

Like many other artists, I´ve worked in many different non-artistic jobs along my life developing hidden skills that enrich your life and inspire yourself.

I am a daily activist, recycling and supporting environmental causes, since I was 12 much before that it was tendry,
